Myofascial Release Therapy
Service Description
Myofascial Release Massage is a therapeutic massage technique focused on relieving pain and restoring motion by targeting the body’s fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles, bones, and organs. Over time, fascia can become restricted due to injury, inflammation, or stress, leading to discomfort, limited movement, and tension. During a Myofascial Release session, the therapist uses gentle, sustained pressure and stretching techniques to release fascial restrictions. Unlike traditional massage, this method is slow and intentional, allowing the tissue to soften and lengthen naturally. Sessions are often performed without oil, and clients may be partially clothed or draped, depending on the areas being treated. This approach is particularly effective for chronic pain, postural issues, strain injuries and other musculoskeletal conditions. The goal is to restore mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall body function by addressing the root cause of tension rather than just the symptoms.
